Venture Dues
As a part of Upland's economy, which is modeled after real economics and commerce, Metaventure entrepreneurs pay dues based on the performance and volume of each Metaventure type in a specific locale. Owners will pay a % of the median contribution paid to the community pool by Metaventures of the same type, in the same locale.
The Ventures Dues model will adjust on the basis of each Metaventure-type; meaning different Metaventure-types will have a different fee structure that is determined based on the attributes of each locale and its inventory supply.
Venture Dues are incurred pro-rata dependent upon the time at which the Metaventure is opened. Meaning that players will only start incurring fees for the remainder of the month that they begin operations.
Metaventure owners receive an in-game notification when it's time to submit their Venture Dues. If a Metaventure owner doesn't pay their dues, their business may be closed down.
